Waipa District Council
Waipa District Council engaged CCS to complete streetscaping for the Leamington Village upgrade. This included road re-construction, stormwater, concrete works and feature art in Leamington Village. This was a complex project in an environment with both high vehicle and pedestrian traffic. John McDonald, Jon Fearnley and Bryan Allen were the key staff on this project.
The roading works included full depth pavement reconstruction and surfacing, with new kerb and channel being installed over majority of the project length. The footpaths throughout Leamington were paved with clay pavers. New lighting, aesthetically pleasing street furniture and feature art pieces were installed as part of the overall contract.
The project exceeded all the quality requirements and was delivered under budget. This project demonstrates our ability to complete high complex and challenging works on time and within budget, our skills in traffic management and our ability to complete high quality road reconstruction.
